Stephen was raised Old Order Mennonite, his first language was the German dialect of Pa. Dutch and his family's mode of transportation was horse and buggy. Today the the Hoover family is Pentecostal, but Stephen maintains a deep rooted love for the family values and many of the traditions he was raised with. He is a self employed Chimney Sweep and a volunteer EMT/Firefighter.
Kristin, is a registered nurse, turned stay-at-home mom, after 10 years of career. She manages the office for Steve, and home schools the girls. She is also active in church leadership, assisting in music as choir, and drama director.
Kristin describes her homemaker role as a "labor of love".
Emily Nikole is seven and in the second grade. She is active in Girl Scouts, Soccer and Teeball. She competes statewide in Bible Quizzing and is a blue ribbon winner.
Grace Marie is five and a kindergartner. She is in Daisey's, Soccer and Teeball. She has a passion for collecting bugs and plays the piano.
Alivia Joy is three and adds spice to the Hoover family life and homeschool.
